Nope! Numbers don’t lie!Officiating was very lopsided tonight. That phantom PF call against Perry and the blown offsides call that turned into motion call against us. I don't even think we should have gotten the targeting call. They missed an obvious defensive holding call on a 3rd down play too.
Funny thing is I don't think they were biased just clueless.
Agree there were some terrible missed calls. We also declined a couple if their penalties.Arkansas had 1 penalty for 10 yards all game. There were several key no calls or blatant bad calls. The snap infraction when Arkansas had jumped offsides was huge. Also the no call PI on Staley on a 3rd down killed our momentum.
Congratulations to the team for battling through adversity and bad officiating to get the win.
Bunch of holding calls got missed. H
I thought both of the hands to the face penalties were ticky tac. Wasn't much going on there. The false start shat at home should really never happen. I did watch about 4 obvious jersey grabs by Arkansas that were ignored by the refs. The officiating has been bad across the board for a long time now. They seem to have no interest in making it better. You'd almost swear it sometimes is agenda driven. They turn a blind eye to stuff you can see setting on your couch. Certain teams get a extra push some years..They called little to no holding/PI on either side. Ours were blatant false starts, blatant PFs, delay of games, and blatant offsides....
Much like we saw last year, we were extremely undisciplined against Arky.
Now, if you wanted to see a screw job, that was down there in Auburn....

Doesn't give your a warm fuzzy feeling going into a loud stadium at night on the road. Heupel's teams draw a lot of penalties. It's been pretty consistent.Second half both teams were holding pretty heavily and their corners were pretty snug. Refs were letting that go both ways.
Having 6 or 7 presnap penalties at home is a worrying sign. Much like a pitcher with suspect control, undisciplined teams dont get calls.
Might explain Auburn's issues
They had three. Two were declined.Arkansas had 1 penalty for 10 yards all game. There were several key no calls or blatant bad calls. The snap infraction when Arkansas had jumped offsides was huge. Also the no call PI on Staley on a 3rd down killed our momentum.

Yep. This will be an all out, full throated Tuscaloosa crew and I've seen this horror movie so many times before. Know it by heart. Fans are ready for us to break the streak and devastate Bama's season. "Vols by fiddy" runs rampant among the faithful in the week and hours leading up to the contest. At the end of the game, there's wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Vol fan base over the loss and torches/pitchforks for the staff and for the zebras who cost us the game....again. We'll rinse and repeat for OU, UF and perhaps even Vandy.Just wait until next week.
