Arkansas was 1 - 10

Officiating was very lopsided tonight. That phantom PF call against Perry and the blown offsides call that turned into motion call against us. I don't even think we should have gotten the targeting call. They missed an obvious defensive holding call on a 3rd down play too.

Funny thing is I don't think they were biased just clueless.

Prior to tonight Arkansas was averaging 5.6 penalties per game. Yes we declined 2 penalties but even with that is statistically improbable. Add in that an unranked team is playing a ranked team on the road and it makes it even more improbable.
Why do we need to decline a personal foul penalty anyways? Shouldn't that have been tacked on to the play?

Incompetence from an officiating crew is one thing, but malfeasance is a far worse problem that should be dealt with by the SEC.
But it won't be because Stankey either doesn't care or is sinister enough to actually enjoy the chaos it creates.

Arkansas had 1 penalty for 10 yards all game. There were several key no calls or blatant bad calls. The snap infraction when Arkansas had jumped offsides was huge. Also the no call PI on Staley on a 3rd down killed our momentum.

Congratulations to the team for battling through adversity and bad officiating to get the win.
Auburn is getting screwed really bad right now. Absurd.

Coincidentally, Auburn just got robbed of a TD on review. Unreal. He broke the plane.
You know it’s bad when fans of other SEC schools call it out.

Just now, Georgia should have been flagged for spearing but nope, the SEC wants Bama and Georgia to be the top dogs, literally.

Question as this is a major problem for most teams in the SEC, what can or needs to be done to resolve our officiating issues? The SEC does not seem concerned so can the fans force a change with litigation or is our only weapon not watching or attending games?

We didn’t decline a couple of those penalties - they were waved off because the play resulted in a change of possession to UT. The bigger question might be why aren’t those personal fouls carried over and added to the spot after the change of possession.

As Tony Basilio says, Heupel gets the worst “whistle” in the league. SEC refs have zero respect for him and no matter how he protests, they don’t care. It’s weird. Maybe the lay down lineman thing works against him.
I have no respect for the XP lineman crap. Needs to stop. Go Vols.
