Why, Arky just doesn't have much to offer like UT, Aub. They are more on par with UK. They have, what is commonly referred to as one of the ugliest campuses in the SEC. Their facilities are way behind. Granted they are trying to get caught up. While their fan base is loyal, ie tangerine, it is a small fan base which cannot generate a large revenue stream. They have no tradition of winning. They have never won in the SEC so it is difficult to recruit.

I kinda like Tangerine. It is so fun to make fun of Arky. It's like an indignant hillbilly little cousin from that dirty side of the family who comes to Thanksgiving and tries to tell you how rich he is even though his family lives in a ratty trailer with garbage all over the yard.

Petrino was not considered a great recruiter, however he did have a top 20 class.

1.In 2009 his class was ranked #16 by Rivals.

2.Recruiting rankings mean nothing. If they did, we wouldnt even need to play the games. The AP and the BCS dont hand out rings based on how some guys at Rivals think you did in recruiting.

3.Petrino proved that you can be a top 5 team without top 5, top 10 or even top 20 talent as defined by Rivals.

4.How well has all of the high ranked classes we have had in the last 5 years or so worked out for us?

I mean heck in 2009 Lane recruited the #1 kid in the nation for god sake. I fully expect his jersey to be retired at UT and his name put up beside Peyton's in the ring of honor. I mean he was the #1 recruit in the country. I think next year Bryce will lead us to a National Championship.

1. I said WHILE DOOLEY WAS COACH, he out recruited Petrino, 2009 he was still outrecruited by Kiffin.

2. Every BCS champion has averaged a top 15 class or better.

3. Petrino didn't do this, Boise, Utah, TCU and the likes did.

4. Not well, but that's not to say the cupboard is bare, we have talent, but not coaching.

Can you name an example as to where I'm not being truthful with myself?

As for the rest of that hot garbage, you are not in my league kid. I deal in facts, you deal in vague comments with nothing credible backing up your posts.

Good job acting like you are above it all and in the same breath admit that you listen to John and Jimmy, kinda insinuates you would be more likely the type to call a show such as that more so than me seeing as though it apparently is playing on your radio.

Bingo you hit the nail on the head. While some are trying to convince others that Fayetteville is a great little city they fail to realize that it's still in the middle of nowhere. Fayetteville is retiree nice not high profile football coach nice or 18 y/o stud football player nice.

We never asked for anything for the rest of the advancement we have brought you guys over the past years such as tooth brushes, dental floss, toilet paper, laws on sanitation, information on how to avoid incestual relationships, adequate housing, education of the importance for abstaining from beastuality, etc, all of which made arkansas inhabitable. Please understand this comes with love and no intent to continue to hold you in your past ignorance. Good observation, but this level of education hasn't reached Arkansas yet, we will send you some 2008 kindergarden english books. Look under the section called paragraph diagramming. Please be enlightened to know that the author chooses when the paragraph ends, not some grammatically enept imbecile from Arkansas. Thank you for your time and attention though. I am pretty sure TCU has never a recruiting class higher than 23. In fact since 2002 I think their average recruiting class rank is 60...

Wow everybody is shooting down my dreams! I listen to the Erik Ainge show everyday and he sounds pretty confident that Gruden will come to Tennessee. Thats what im gonna stick by until november 30.

Ever heard of Bud Walton arena? According to the University of Arkansas Bud Walton approached then athletic director Frank Broyles and ask him what they needed most to be competitive in the SEC since they had just moved into the league. Broyles told Walton they needed a new bk arena so Walton donated 15 million to help have one built. He could have just as easily said we need a new football coach or whatever. Point being the money was being donated to the athletic department especially since at least a few Waltons are known to be Razorback fans. In 2002 the Walton Foundation gave the University of Arkansas a 300 million commitment. Common sense says if they are willing to give that kind of money to the University they are going to also donate to the athletic department. Donations may not come directly from the Walton foundation but more likely out from a couple of Waltons that are known to be Razorback fans in which case the donations would likely not be made public.They certainly have it to give and have shared their wealth throughout northwest Arkansas so there's no reason to think it would not extend to the Razorback athletic department. According to everything I have heard and read the Waltons and Tyson chicken are at the top of the fund raising list at Arkansas.

Fulmer isn't coaching UT again and Gruden isn't going to Arky. I have zero sources but I have common sense.
