Knew I was going to miss the next two regardless because of a family commitment that is taking us out of town to watch my son performing at some place in Orlando. Was loving this moment but going to miss what I thought would be a 3-1 team at worse and beating that G team. Sold them before this Saturday so may have got max value which is good but someone else will be sitting in M instead of me. Will be back for the Scar, N. Tex, and Vandy game. Hope we will be rolling and only have three losses as most by then. GBO

We are leaving from Illinois on Thursday and staying in Gatlinburg. With a 7:00 pm start what time should we be there? My wife wants to see the VolWalk and any other festivities. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Vol walk will be at 4:45(Always 2 hrs and 15 minutes prior to kickoff). Traffic can be pretty bad this time of year in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge so allow 1.5 - 2 hrs to be safe. Although it's crowded on gamedays, I'd suggest going to Calhouns on the River for lunch and watching the Vol Navy roll in. I think you can pay to park there for the game also.

As always, taking Friday as a travel day, 6 hr drive with Sirius college radio to prep wife and I for weekend. She despises Lou Holtz and he is on for 3 hours! We have West side seats. GBO.

I felt just as sick as anyone after watching the game last night. Still feel awful today and probably will all week. But next Saturday Night we are about to see what makes us the best fanbase in all of sports! Luckily our fanbase is very different from the vocal minority on this message board that are calling for boycotts, wearing black, giving away your tickets, hoping we lose, firing our coach etc... Don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to an opinion but skipping games because you are upset over a loss is childish. However, I know the majority of our fans will get over it and be ready to go next weekend.

When I step off my flight in Knoxville on Friday I'll be wearing my Orange just as proud as ever. The players are not quitting on this team, the coaches are not quitting on this team and neither are the vast majority of our fans! Tailgates will be going all day and the stadium will be rocking on Saturday night! I think we may be louder than the Oklahoma game to show our appreciation of the effort our team put forth yesterday! It's what real Tennessee fans do and what separates us from every other fanbase! Just like after the Georgia loss 2 years ago and after the Oklahoma loss this year.

I used to go to every home game for most of my life. It's what my family did on Saturdays growing up and I continued it over the years. You could say it was the way I was raised. I can't imagine Saturdays in the fall being about anything other than Tennessee football. After moving out here many years ago, I obviously don't get to a lot of games and it makes me appreciate every time I do. A bad day at Neyland stadium is better than any other day not spent there. When the T opens up and the players run through it on Saturday night I will have have a smile on my face and there is no other place on earth I would rather be. And when the ball is kicked and It's Football Time in Tennessee I'll be one of the 102,455 on their feet cheering for our team. Safe travels to all and see you there!

Sadly, I will be there in section S. I have been to every home game for the last 8 years, so watching losing football is my thing I guess. Probably will be blackout drunk for this one. Back to the Dooley years, win the tailgate, lose the game.
