Opinions of Arkansas hillbillies shouldn't even be recognized as real thoughts...

LOL. Yeah, being five miles from the center of Arkansas I am surrounded by them. I was amazed they put the marker up which sets in front of a grave yard.

..they got allot of room to talk. What went on in "hawg-land" last off season was similar to a three-ring-circus

I guess jabbing at other schools sure beats looking at a 31-point bowl game loss.

Way to represent the conference! Now I get to listen to a bunch of Big Ten pissants up here pointing to that and going "Huh huh huh, guess the SEC isn't so great after all!"

Nearly six weeks has passed since David Cutcliffe announced he was leaving the offensive coordinator position at Tennessee to become head man at Duke, and head coach Phillip Fulmer is still scrambling to find a replacement.

I thought Cutcliffe announced it around December 15. That's not six weeks

Maybe those pissants will shut the hell up if LSU kicks the snot out of OSU.... :eek:lol:

maybe they can do an article this time next year about "Who needs a Head Coach?" since more than likely, theirs will be gone

If Big Ten fans have to use a victory by a Big 12 team as validation, they're even more pathetic than I thought.

Does this cat think he's smart thinking of all that? Man I can't believe these folks actually make a living just rambling about pointless :censored:

They won't. It's very unique up here...even fans of the most hated SEC rivals are like brothers because of the suffocating blanket of dumbth emanating from Columbus.

They do, and they are. Getting your junk stomped in a national title game after crowing for weeks about how no one belongs on the field with you will make for some odd fans.

The host on local sports radio show on 103.9 (for my fellow central Ohioans) finished the Friday show with a letter from a Florida fan talking about how miserable life has been for her and her family since last January due to the disrespect and property damage (among other things). Of course, it was responded to with one of those "Well, every fan base has people they're not proud of....", which is garbage.

There's a very small number of fan bases that are packed with a bunch of loudmouthed jackasses, and Ohio State is one of them. They rival Michigan for outright arrogance and Wisconsin for boorish behavior and, much like the Notre Dame fans that so many act like, they talk about "academic standards" and teams from the 1930s when they realize that getting pounded in a title game like that is more than a bit embarrassing.

or the infamous “It’s not the Xs and Os, it’s the Jimmys and Joes.”

I swear he stole that right off of the ESPN commentary for the International Bowl. Before yesterday I had never heard that phrase in my life. Then I see it used twice on the same day. Coincidence? Sure.

The reason I didn't have any problem with Florida winning their last few national titles over Ohio State.

Arkansas' fans are going to have enough to worry about with their own program

given the lack of returning starters, installing a new offense, and their schedule for teh next couple of years, 6-6 looks preety good.

Not mention worrying about how long it will be before Petrino leaves...

I didn't think the piece was too offensive but even if it was so what, it is Arkansas. Their performance in the bowl game has extinguished their 15 minutes that McFadden gave them.

Randy Moore's opinion means as much to me as when the next rerun of Murder She Wrote is coming on.

That's was actually pretty funny. But it hasn't been 6 weeks.

To Arkansas fans it feels like 6 weeks. they don't know how to use a Calender. Teaching them to use a calender is like explaining to them that dating their cousin is wrong

Of course they can't understand that it's been only 23 days.

If they count using all their fingers, toes, and teeth, 23 is beyond the realm of their comprehension.

So, I applied to Ohio State for graduate work in political science, and every...oops, hold on, I meant THE Ohio State...anyway, every time I mention that to anyone (not just UT fans, I was in Colorado last week), they say "Really? A Buckeye?"

I'm having second thoughts based almost solely on their football program. I'm thinking if I get accepted of walking around each day with a new hat: Florida, LSU, or Michigan. It could make for interesting conversation anyway.
