Arkansas is improved. Why aren't we?

Almost losing to those teams. Then almost beating A&M. Yeah. That means they improved. Looks like their backup QB sparked their team.

Wonder what that is like?
They did lose to San Jose State. That makes a tough sell for "improvement".

Idiot? You're the one who doesn't understand nuance. I want to see improvement. Arkansas is improved; we aren't. They were a play away from upsetting a Top 25 SEC team. A&M would beat us by at least 4 tds.

Except we don’t play a&m, the season isn’t over, and Arkansas has won 4 games with their new coach... winless in the sec. Tennessee has been a play away from beating plenty of top 25 teams the last decade... and yet here we are... barely better than Arkansas

UNC looks improved too.

Must be nice. All these teams. Playing better.

Wonder what that’s like?
Arkansas still looks like trash imo. North Carolina I’ll give you. They look improved.

Let me ask everyone a serious question: where does Tennessee have this elite talent everyone points out? QB is bottom tier and terrible, WR is probably our most experienced and best group but we don’t have anyone to get them the ball, RBs are better than average imo but our run blocking is towards bottom of the SEC imo, Oline is infinitely better than previous years but are one of the worst lines in the conference. Dline is bottom tier, LBers maybe average if Bituli is healthy, safeties bottom tier.

I know part of that is on Pruitt but his players look to be the bright spots outside of Jennings and a very few upperclassmen. Everyone points out better talent but I just don’t see it especially compared to the SEC.

Dude. Toledo just beat BYU. Ga State lost to other teams on their level.

Why do we need elite talent to beat those two teams? We should be 3-1 right now. Why aren’t we?

I wish our posters would improve, must be nice to not have a bunch of Trolls.

Why is he trolling?

UNC is the exact opposite of what you and a lot of other people on here say shouldn’t be able to win.

First year coach at a new school. The team isn’t full of “his guys” and he’s got a TF QB leading this team to wins. Yet they’re undefeated at the moment.

So how is it that man is a troll? If you don’t like facts that’s fine, but facts don’t care about your feelings.

UNC is a well coached team, and I’m gonna bet they’ not nearly as talented as whole as UT is. Yet here they are hanging with Clemson and Pruitt can’t get this team to hang with Georgia State.

Your thinking isn't very nuanced. The point is they look improved over last year. That is a sign of coaching.
Help me figure this out... UT had the second most experienced roster in the conference coming into the season, yet looks like the worst team in the SEC right now. How do you justify that? What reason do we have to believe Pruitt can get it done?

None.

You guys already have all the answers why keep asking the same questions when you know your gonna get the same answers over and over and over?

They look better this year than last year. Keep up. Improvement isn't just measured in wins and losses. The first step is competing. UT isn't competing right now.
I’m keeping up just fine. It’s just your argument is based on Arkansas competing one week versus an overrated A&M team. Tennessee beat Auburn and Kentucky last year which is far more impressive than anything Morris has done at Arkansas.

I’ll hold off on saying Arkansas is improved until they actually win a game or two against an sec opponent.

All I know is, I now know I have had a past life because this feels like medieval times where the Crimson King always dominates and the Orange is depending on peasants armed with those wooden rake-looking things.

Come up for air dud, it’s the first quarter of the season, let’s see what happens. Nobody cares how close other schools are to beating teams here, what’s unc going to do, win 7-8 games? That’s great but nobody here is interested in that. We have a long list of fired coaches that agree.

JG.

I know your response is why is Pruitt playing him then? I don’t have the answer there

Ummm. Losing. And then the next week, not losing.

That is literally 100x better

Correct?

Or am I using Bammer math?
What are you talking about? Arkansas lost last week to San Jose State and then they just lost again today. Texas A&M beat Arkansas 31-27. I watched the game. You are using moron math.

I mean, we have lost 3 out of 4. We are 100x better. So almost losing, is basically winning. Right?
