Arian looks like he lost a ton of weight, got stronger and faster.

Very impressive day. I thought he was done. Good for him.

Glad to see Foster doing so well. Too bad it was against my Colts. I thought he got a raw deal here from the fans. He even got blamed for that UCLA loss for a fumble that happened in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

Nobody really dogged AF ability to run the ball here, it was just his propensity for putting it on the ground at the worst possible times.

That's partially true. People dogged his ability, but mostly for fumbling "all the time". I heard "he's slow" a lot as well. When Hardesty was tearing it up last year everyone started saying how Phil is an idiot and all this time Foster shouldn't have been starting, etc. Turns out Foster does have what it takes.

Picked Foster up in the 3rd round of my fantasy draft. Out performed Adrian Peterson on my team.

I remember about 90% of the folks on here saying that AF wouldn't even make an NFL team. Kudos to Arian on the starting job and a great game.

Congrats to you as well Fostermom.

From ESPN.com........

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Arian Foster's 231 rushing yards in Sunday's opener is the second-best opening day rushing performance in NFL history.

Glad to see him do so well. I am a Manning fan so not happy they lost but Manning did great too. He doesn't play D and didn't make any big mistakes. Great display for us Vol fans on both teams!!

OMG,
what happened to ARIAN !

Nothing. Arian has always been a great RB. Screw the fumble honks. He was, is, and will be a great back.

Congrats to Arian and FosterMom on a near historic day.

Just a shame he isnt the UT rushing leader instead of the impregnator.

well, i mean also it was in combination with how the oline was dominating the Colts D and opening up huge holes for him to run through; as well as what looked like the Colts inability to stop a running game even when they loaded up the line and tried (i think it might be another game before we know whether it's just the Colts run D is that bad or the Texans oline is that good)

The arid Texas air must have cured him of the devasting Vapor Lock disease that afflicted him during his time in Tennessee.

Got Foster on my Fantasy Football team and started him today...he's an every week starter behind that massive O-Line. He also made a 1 handed catch too. Hopefully Houston will reward him with a better contract, he's making pennies compared to other starting RB's.
