Arian Foster

Absolutely. Very impressed with Foster. Looked like a different player compared to last year. Hopefully he can play like this all season and hopefully it wasn't just a bad Cal defense... but he didn't look this good against Cal last year.

I think that Arian is definitely improved. He showed acceleration, moves, and stiff-arms that were not nearly as developed in his previous arsenal. The acceleration was definitely not Cal making him look good - and that was what I was most impressed about. We'll have to see how the others (moves and stiff arms) look against other teams. Foster and Coker could make a nice 1-2 punch this year.

If anything we needed to run him more last night and control the clock. I don't understand why they didn't since he was averaging 6.8 yards per carry. They should give him 20-30 carries a game this season.

Arian will have a mediocre performance in a game sometime this season and everyone will once again say he sucks. I'm calling it right now.

Arian did great. I wish he didn't turn around though :dunno:

I loved when he was lined up at WR and caught the TD.

He'll be good this year.

if you look at our scrimmage interviews of foster, when the guy asked him wat was his biggest improvement... he said "my arms man... they look so big... i think i can press 600 #"

well it sure worked most part... dat was one good addition he can get more yards after contact.... nice game for foster

Foster had a great game. OL played better. Great game by the offense last night. Either D is weaker or CAL is that good. Guess we'll find out next week.

This sums up my view of the game - I think (hope) this will be the most dynamic offense we face this year.

All night I kept commenting on how sharp Ainge was and how good Arian was running.

Foster played very well. He'll never be a speed back but he played great as a powerback tonight and showed much improvement in the speed and strength area.

hmm... it could be the year he develops into a solid member of a 1-2 punch with coker?

i still say hardesty needs to be involved, and creer actually was in the game but didn't do anything but recover a fumble

coker in the backfield and foster lined up at WR might be good

i've been asking myself that question about a lot of people lately

Sorry to cliche but Foster seems to be the type of back that gets stronger as the game goes on and could wear down a defense.
