Arian Foster gets cut but...

that's still a pretty good job for a guy fresh out of college. Good luck to him

That's too bad for him. He might get a shot though later during the season.

If Chris Brown is still playing for the Texans, he rarely lasts a season without an injury, so Arian still has a chance to play this year.

that still would put him though at like 3rd or 4th RB on their depth chart list in that scenario (depends on how many they keep)

not sure how serious or long of an injury it has to be for them to activate him either

Negatvie, soft pansies who are scared to get hit and run east and west don't make it in the NFL. He shouldn't have even been our number one back. He was a pathetic excuse for a big back.

Not sure why you would take shots at Arian but whatever floats your boat.

I like Arian a lot more after reading the Clay Travis book...I hope he makes this team later on.

He deserves it.

Best of luck to Arian and whatever his future brings. It's always good to see a Vol make the next level.

That is exactly what I was thinking. If their is one team that the pratice squad always seem to get one or two players on the active roster it is the Texans. My Titans beat up that offensive line so bad. I think they have tried to improve on that. Either way Arian could not have asked for a better place to be.

Arian is earning $5200.00 per week for 17 weeks of regular season NFL football. Even though it's as a practice squad member, there is still an opportunity for him in the NFL, something most never even achieve.

I'm sure MANY of us here would not turn down that salary for just 17 weeks.

What an ass. What don't you do the board a favor and just not post any more.

The Texans are loaded on the offensive side, hope he gets a chance in the next year or so

Lots of people here dogged the guy when he was a Vol and now that he's moved on, they're playing the good guy role by wishing him luck. Get real, we want to see him sign with an NFL team because its good for recruiting.

Nope, because he is a Vol.

You can if you want.

However, it's hard to take someone serious whose only access to the NFL is buying a ticket.

Not really. I can see why your average couch potato probably has no business calling a professional athlete a pansy, but couch potatos can also have a lot of sports knowledge.

True, except for the first hand knowledge of how hard it is to run though a pack of men weighing 290 and having a 5 second 40. Especially when those men don't want you to gain yardage.

Arian had an unbelievable freshman year. If he could have been coached up by our current staff he would have been one of the greatest backs in U.T. history. Lane would have made him hit or sit!
