Are you still a Colt's fan even though Peyton has gone on to Denver? Or were you a Colt's fan before Peyton arrived? I am still a Colt's fan & have been since the Johnny Unitas days. Made it real easy to support the Colt's when Peyton arrived. But I will pull for the Bronco's since Peyton is there as well as still a Colt's fan.

I am a Colts fan, not just a fan of a certain player. When the Broncos are not playing the Colts or has no effect on if the Colts go to playoffs or change seeding if they make it then I will pull for Peyton to do well.

Not after the way they did the man who single-handedly made their franchise relevant again.

You mean like how they paid him millions for one year knowing full well he would not play a snap all year long?

No - was never a strong fan but did watch them whenever because of PM and his abilities.

Will probably transfer that over to Denver but will still be a Steelers fan first and foremost.

I was a Colts fan before Peyton and will be afterwards. I'm actually excited about this season and how it unfolds. We'll suck overall but hopefully, both the offense and defense will be improved - want to see where that improvement comes from.

I don't expect much this season but I can almost guarantee it will be better than last season. I am excited to see Luck progress, the running game come back into play and finally play some D in Indy. How fortunate are we to go from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck?

Colts are set at QB for at least 10 years. We build around him. I like how the new GM is more aggressive regarding FA's. The rest of the AFC South better get their laughs in now because Colts will be back soon.

Only bad thing is that I don't live in Indy anymore so I can't see them on the tube very often.

You saw they cut Ben Ijalana? He tore an ACL. Will be back very soon

Telling me, try living in Mid Tenn. I either listen to the broadcast on internet or go to BWW

Did not know that about Ijalana. Who takes his place?

They signed some guy today who I have never heard of but from what I remember he was not scheduled to start anyway so it's not that big of a blow. Another Polian bust is out, that's always a good thing

I appreciate what Bill Polian did for the Colts but even he admitted that his assessment of offensive linemen in the draft sucked.

I did also but his last few drafts were terrible. Especially the early round picks. The Ugoh trade is the one that really screwed it all up because the Castonzo pick was supposed to be Wayne's replacement at WR but since Ugoh was a bust they had to look for another LT. Plus them never finding a serviceable back up to Peyton was maybe worst of all.

I've always like the Colts back when Johnny Unitas played for them but wasn't a huge Colts fan. Only became a bigger fan when Peyton was drafted. Will still like the Colts. May not be a Bronco fan but will root for Peyton.

Here are the Colts first 4 rounds picks since 2009:

2009: Donald Brown, Fili Moala, Jerraud Powers, Austin Collie
2010: Jerry Hughes, Pat Angerer, Kevin Thomas, Jacques McClendon
2011: Anthony Costonzo, Ben Ijalama, Drake Nevis, Deleone Carter

Its a little early to judge last year's picks but from those 12 players, at least 6 are disappointments or outright busts. That is not a good record when you completely disregard the free agent market.

Yes, was a Colts fan before I went to UT, but being not from Indiana no one believes me.

Speaking for my son, who made a bonfire with all his Colts stuff on the day of the announcement....NO.

I am going to miss the trips to Indy though, great town.

Go Pats@!

It's going to be on Brown this year to be the #1 guy it's up to him to get it done. I am hoping that now Hughes is an OLB in the 3-4 he will get it together. Early reports are he has been shining but its still way too early for me to get excited. With all that cap room next season I sure hope they get in on some good ones.
