Auburn only ESPN taking head (don`t remember which one ) said " yes but the SEC has not beaten a PAC 10 team for the National Title".

I'm thrilled Georgia got beat and I hope Auburn gets throttled. Sick of Chizik acting like he is a great coach when he has one of the best OC in the country and the best athlete in the country doing all the work for him.

I am pulling for the rest of the SEC.

Yes I hope the sec does well in all their bowl games. Being the strongest conference in college football helps us indirectly and makes us ,a better team for having to play them year in and year out by requiring that we stay up to par unless we enjoy getting embarrassed

Under NO circumstances could I ever pull for Florida. Aside from them, I don't lose sleep over the outcome of any other games, but I do hope Arkansas spanks the Buckeyes. Alabama's current beatdown on the Spartans is a nice eff you to the Big 10, so that is something to like.

I hope the Ducks DESTROY that bought and paid-for cheater.

Oh, he's the best option QB I've seen, no doubt, but shopping for cash payment is against the rules... even if the NCAA interprets them arbitrarily.

I'm not rooting for anyone directly, but I'm kinda smiling how bad the SEC is making the big 10 look right now. After what those bastard refs did to us....

I HATE UGA with a passion...and was glad to see them lose to a punk conference yesterday. That being said...I HATE BIG 10 FOOTBALL AND THEIR OFFICIALS, so I hope the SEC takes them ALL to the woodshed. Northwestern just got beat...Michigan St is OBVIOUSLY a joke...and MS State is sending Rich Rod to unemployment. I hope TCU beats Wisconsin as well. Did I mention I HATE the Big 10? And their newest team Nebraska? UGH...got beat handily by WASHINGTON? SERIOUSLY? That conference SUCKS!

I'm pulling for Miss St. (family ties), Auburn (another NC for the SEC) and Arky (hate OSU and to shut a dude up at work).

You pull for the SEC because the BCS is weighed heavy on speculative polls and we do not want to be left out in 2013 undefeated in 3rd place because the polls believe an undefeated Big 12 team or Pac 10 team deserve it more than we do like they did to Auburn. We need the pollsters to feel that the SEC is the number one conference so that when we do go undefeated we know we are playing for the title. I don't give a flip about the other teams but its all symbiotic circle.

I am PRO SEC every bowl year.. I will root for Tennessee against everyone but in bowl season I hope SEC destroys everyone. The more wins the better the conference gets.... The better the conference is the easier it is to be highly ranked when you have 10-12 win seasons. If the SEC always lost their bowls we would eventually fall to a big east type confernce and would probably lose our tv deal. Everyone should root for the SEC because it's us against the world. Everyone is out to beat an SEC team. Who cares if you beat a big east team.

the only time you should root for the SEC is bowl time. hate each other during the season, but pull for the conference against other conferences. all the teams as a whole have worked very hard to build some prestige over the past few decades, so even if you hate bama on the third saturday of october, suck it up and recognize that what's good for them is good for us in the post season.

I also feel that what is good for the SEC is good for UT, especially against other BCS conferences. Even being a Vol fan, how can you not be impressed with the beating 'Bama laid on Michigan St? That was as thorough a beating I've seen put another team in some time. If that were a 10 round boxing match, the ref would have stopped the fight early in the 6th. Physical domination. I hope the Vols can get back to that level of performance. SEC could wind up with 4 teams ranked in the top 10 in the final poll. That's great for league stature, and it does carry weight with voters. When SEC teams beat up on one another in the regular season, they aren't penalized as bad due to perceived conference depth/strength.

Once you live outside the conference, and listen to other fans rip the SEC you will be rooting for the SEC too. It is amazing the number of fans who think the SEC is overrated.
