Are you now a Bronco fan?

No, never will be. Never was a colts fan. I love what Peyton did for UT, but that should never decide your NFL team because that means you're a fake fan. VOL fans need to get over this obsession with Peyton and realize that he is a once in a blue moon type of QB, and quit comparing every single QB in Vol history to him because they will never live up to expectations.

who does that but you know tyler bray kindof reminds me of peyton.

I am a Peyton fan. Because of this, I am now a Broncos fan.

I will always and forever be a Vol fan but I will never bandwagon. Players will come and go in the NFL. What happens when that player retires? Im happy that Peyton has had a pretty solid career, but I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan and it is now my obligation to hope Peyton never wins another game in the NFL.

Luckily Eric Berry is on my NFL team so it takes the sting out of having to root against Peyton, one of my favorite players of any sport ever.

I was a Balitmore Colt from 1964 until they left town in 1984.

I was never an Indianapolis fan so i won't be a Denver fan either.

I don't see how you're a "fake" fan if you're upfront about your loyalty to a player. I'll cheer for the Broncos because I want Peyton to win, not because I'm a Broncos fan. I cheer for the Chiefs because I want to see Berry succeed. The only team I hate with any passion in the NFL is the Pats. And it's not really the Pats I hate, it's Bellichik and Brady. I like to see Mayo make good plays, but I cannot cheer for the Pats.

I was a bronco fan last year because of the tebow experience. I will continue to be a bronco fan because of peyton. Hope he stays healthy.

My love for college fb is far above all other sports. UT is not only my favorite team, it is part of who I am. I hurt when we lose and an absolute happiness is within when we win.

I love football but do not feel the same way about any team. I cheer for all our NFL Vols. It is different with Peyton as I did become a Colts fan so now I am a Bronco fan. I never felt a strong tie to the Titans. I understand that can be considered as "bandwagon" esque. Since Denver has a few Vols playing for them my bond to them is that much stronger.

To my question. How many of you, that weren't Bronco fans, are now rooting for Denver? Some are probably going to be negative but am I the only one on VN that feels this way?

I'm not a professional sports fan of any team sport. they are just not very interesting to me. I might check box scores from time to time to just see how former Tennessee kids might be doing but do not go out of my way to follow any team.. could not tell you standings of any of the major leagues at any point..

tried one Titans game and was ready to leave by end of first quarter.. years ago when they had McNair playing.

I'm a Siants fan. I know that we are in trouble now; however, I will still buy season tickets unless they turn into the Aint's again, and I'm forced to wear a paper bag over my head. On the other hand, I've always cheered for Peyton Manning (No matter what team he plays for in the NFL). I really want him to be successful in Denver. If anyone deserves to be rich & famous, it is Peyton. If my son can grow up and be half the person that Manning is, I will be thrilled.
Also, I'm talking about as a person; not his money.
I can also say that he & UT should have a Heisman Trophy.
Charles Woodson is a great player, but him winning over Peyton Manning was a fix.

Yea, I usually pull for Peyton, I hated Elway, but loved to watch the Broncos line work together toward the end of his career. Have always and will always despise Tim Tebow no matter where he is. The Vols always come first but I am a Steelers fan, so no. And anyone who changes teams just because of Peyton was never a fan of that team to begin with.

I grew up a Denver fan. I was born there, was with them through the painful Elway years up through the beautiful Elway years. I became a UT fan in the early 2000's. I was happy to see them sign Peyton because he's a phenomenal player and person, but slightly bitter knowing that it would bring a barrage of "fans" who will buy the gear, cheer like crazy, and then not give a crap once Peyton retires. So be it. I'll be cheering for them long after he (and his fans) leave.

I mean, Eric Berry's great, but I didn't become a Chiefs fan when he got drafted.

It's funny that you consider superbowl losing years as painful....I have been a 76er fan my whole life.....now that is painful.....I remember playing NBA jam against my friends as a kid and they were playing with all these great stars and I had to play with Clarence weatherspoon and shawn Bradley LOL

Cowboy fan all the way,but as long Peyton is not playing my cowboys I root for him. I love to watch peyton play the game . He is a field genral out there

College Football is king! NFL is secondary. Ever since they moved the Browns I lost interest in following closely. Teams, colors, locations, traditions - they all can change in an instant. There are no true rivalries, no soul. It is greatly watered down.

Grew up Redskins fan, before Atlanta Falcons and all the sports channels they were the team of the South, shown all over the Carolinas and Tennessee. Always thought I'd switch to Charlotte if they ever got a team but I'm old school just can't change deep rooted loyalties. The name of the first little league tackle team I played on were the Redskins, so it kinda got ingrained in me.

Pull for former Vol players but that doesn't mean the teams they are playing for. My dream is the Redskins on top and all the individual stats in the league owned by former Vols. OK, I'll put the bottle down now.....

Jets fan here , but I love Peyton playing for the Broncos. Otherwise we could not have gotten the messiah to be our new QB.

Go Jets!!!!

Question: Why despise Tim Tebow?
Statement 1: Yes, I'm a Vols fan and resent Florida's stranglehold on my team. So when we beat them and we will, it will be all the more sweet.
Statement 2: As it was with Kentucky fans, I despise the fact we haven't managed to whip the Gators for a long time, but I do respect the fact they have a worthy opponent.
Statement 3: Tim Tebow certainly has shortcomings as any human does, namely I think he was a great college QB but will struggle as a QB in the pros. he's better suited as a power runner or TE. He foolishly rejected help with his throwing mechanics while at Florida and it is costing him. But in this age of self-center egoism, promiscuous 'tudes, and criminal minded "heroes" his distinction to be opposite of such a mess is refreshing. Hopefully, he maintains his moral compass amid the temptations of pro ball. the groupies, fame whore, and guys who insist you measure yourself by how many women you poke or even out of wedlock babies you conceive. I resent his success against my Vols but that doesn't justify hating the guy. I even admit to a little smirking when a Vol (Peyton Manning) unseated him as the starting QB in Denver. Yet I hope he has success elsewhere though I also feel sorry for him going to the Jets with that loudmouth, bad influence thing they call a coach there.

I've never rooted for another nfl team, and I never will... Doesn't matter what famous Vols are on the team.

I too am a fan of Peyton Manning and wish him well. I probably will not really become a Broncos fan though. I'll pull for Manning to do well.

I'm still a Colts fan. I was a Colts fan long before Manning came along. I used to watch Western Carolina games and they had a kicker, Dean Biasucci, who used to break the glass out of the Ramsey Center with his kicks forcing them to put a net up. I thought that was cool as a kid and became a fan. He went on to the Colts and at the time was the only pro player I had ever met and seen play live. I have been a colts fan since the early 80's and will always be a fan.

I always pull for former Vols to do well though.
