I used to post here daily, followed recruiting year round, and experienced the ups and mostly down emotions from Vol football the last several years. Before this season began I just decided it wasn't worth it to get that upset over a game played by 19-22 year olds. Now I hike on Saturdays or spend it doing hobbies that don't cause me anxiety or raise my blood pressure. I have a friend that used to work in crisis management and she told me once that there was a huge spike in domestic abuse when Tennessee lost...that is pathetic. Anyway not here to flame just wanted to share that there is life outside of Tennessee football...I was as diehard as they come and honestly I've had a helluva time on Saturdays this fall.

Never done. It no longer ruins my Saturday however. More important things to worry about. We win? Awesome. We lose? Meh screw it.

No, but i dont get excited anymore.
After 50 odd years of Big Orange football, this was the first game my stomach was not in a knot....hell, I even yawned a few times. This by no means is something I ever want to experience again. I enjoy my cardiacs and I want them back....P D Q and G B O!

Never. I have learned over the years that in the end, it’s just a game and much more important things in life. I love Tennessee Football but it doesn’t dominate my life like it once did. I enjoy the wins as much as anyone, I enjoy being in Neyland, enjoy the POTSMB, enjoy game day, but win or lose, life goes on. I admit, it does make life a bit more enjoyable when we are winning.

I will always watch but never lay a hand on the wife. That's stupid. However, you'd think by now those old drunks would be use to losing and ease up on the ole lady?

Said I was done two weeks ago after Georgia. Wasn't going to watch another Butch Jones coached game. Didn't watch today. The wife and I went running around. Went to see my new one week old grandson. It was a great day..
