UT men's Basketball team as i am? these last two games have killed me and it doesn't get any easier with MSU in Starkville on Wednesday. hopefully in a season or two or three with more talent,experience and depth UT can win games like the Kentucky and Louisville game. :cross: :cross: :cross: :cross: :cross:

I am very disappointed in this years team as well. All we can hope for now is that they can continue to improve the rest of the year and maybe we can pull out enough wins for a NIT birth. Lets hope next years additions of Jordan Howell, Damien Harris, Jackie Butler, and Andre Patterson can make a difference.

Same here... if you can't appreciate what we've got this year, you should give up on being a fan.

Nice reminder of the state of the program only 4 short years ago... my how times have changed.

according to wikipedia he's a free agent now...he has played some though and i thought he would improve with the knicks but whenenver their big men came off their slump he slid back...he had to do something right though b/c it said he signed a 7 mil contract with the spurs to basically be a long term back up plan...i wish i could make that money getting beat up by duncan in practice

Great dig. Times have certainly changed. Our basketball team is ranked in the top 5 and football team is struggling. 4 years ago, we would be talking about getting a NC in football and dreaming about maybe we can getto the NIT or NCAA if we have a good showing in the SEC Tournament.
