Are we wearing white or orange for the bowl game?

If Penn St were wanting to wear their whites instead of their blues, they would ask Tennessee's permission, and Tennessee would wear the orange.

However, there isn't much thought that Penn St will offer that up.

Look for Tennessee in white, orange stripes on the pants and Penn St in their home blues.

Im down for alil checkerboard action on the shoulder pads, make it kind of look like the Oregon unis from the bowl game tonite. throw in some orange helmets too

Why would the Lions ask permission for anything? Are they the home team or not? Am assuming they are since you are saying they are wearing the blues..

If the home team wants to wear anything other than their traditional home uniforms, they must ask the other team if they will allow them to.

Tennessee had to ask UNLV to wear the throwbacks. UNLV had to agree to bring thier home jerseys.

Almost every LSU home game, they ask the opponent if they can wear their whites instead of the purple. I can remember one of Spurrier's last years in Florida, he wouldn't agree, and LSU had to wear the purple.

I like the Orange Helmets... I think everything that UT wears is orange except for the shirt and that should be checkerboard. wouldn't that be SUPER SWEET!!!

I almost believed that we were wearing Nike checkerboard jerseys... and then realized that we have Adidas uniforms...

Nike sponsored uniforms are always better looking... except for UT's.

that's because oregon whores itself out to nike. the players also have a lot of say in the design of the unis.

The Nike Tennessee Orange is the proper shade of Orange. The Adidas Tennessee Orange is a little to dark IMO. I like the Nike Tennessee Orange myself. I heard we are going back to Nike in the next year or so.

Nike started out as a running shoe only. They have expanded into all sports. Very well I might add. Adidas is doing the same. Having said all that, Adidas football uniforms for all football teams I have seen have been old school. Expect for the away jersey we used two years ago with orange on the shoulder. It doesn't matter what symbol is on the jersey, I think UT will pretty much have the vanilla style of jersey for a long time to come, which is ok by me.

Why not checkerboard helmets too?You know,kind of like that guy you on TV at the UT games with the checkerboards all over his shaved head.:p
