I think it's white but not sure, because I think Florida was the home team last year. Anyone know for sure?

Why must a team wear its away colour in a game when there is no clash in uniform colours? Is it just me or wouldnt it be cool to see UT's home orange line up against Bama's crimson, Floridas blue or Georgias red?

Also has there ever been a call for teams to have home and away coloured helmets? Id love to see a mock up "away UT helmet that was orange with a white band and a white T

Well, it's "colour" throughout much of the English-speaking world.

Fenian, where are you from? I wandered into a pub in the north side of Dublin this summer and ended up having a long chat with a couple of old-school Republican boys. I think they would have enjoyed your avatar...

I heard we were wearing the new Nike checkerboard jerseys (like our end zone)

Then why does LSU get to wear their white jerseys whether they're home or on the road? Are they the kings of white jerseys and who elected them to that office?

I think the home team gets to choose.

Also, I think I remember seeing something where they were discussing whether to relax the uniform rule to allow two teams to both wear colors.

because it looks good on the dog.

if we go the way of checkerboard jerseys, we might as well put diamond plate on the shoulders and knees, a la Oregon.

Thus the Nike reference in the original checkerboard post. Check...
