Are we still 15th?

Penn Sate, LSU and Georgia all lost, but will not drop down to the 15th level. It will be interesting to see how far Fla. St drops. Alabama will jump us and I wouldn't be surprised to see Notre Dame move up significanty (although they don't deserve to). I don't think Vandy should jump us and we could move up on Iowa St. I see us at somewhere betweeen 14 and 17.

Just need to be 12th or better in December...
Tough ask given the schedule that remains. Just don't think this team has enough on the lines of scrimmage to get there....especially on defense. Actually, our defense as a whole will likely be our limiting factor. Well, the defense and Heupel's frustrating tendency to go brain dead and turtle up when crunch time comes.

With this being the AP poll, I suspect Vandy will jump us for holding Utah State to 35 points. We will drop back a few spots for winning a SEC road game against a 4-0 team in OT. Notre Dame top 20 after pig slaughter.

The thing about it is we won but we will not get respect like UGA, who luckily won vs us in OT by us missing a makable FG and moved up 1 spot. We will not get the respect as a positive it will be a negative OT win. Bama will jump us we may move down 1 its tough when you're not the media darling. ND may jump us with all the love they get.

Lol-They will end up being in the playoffs.
I don't think a 10-2 ND squad will be in the playoffs. Boise game wasn't a big deal once they lost to USF to open the season. USC lost to Illinois.

There really aren't any big games that can propel Notre Dame forward. I don't even think they would be ahead of a host of 9-3 Big Ten/SEC schools going into the last week of the season.

Psstt....it's Notre Dame. 10-2 definitely gets them in. Wouldn't be shocked to see 9-3 be enough for the golden domers.

Vandy about to be brought back down to earth the next few weeks.
Folks keep saying that, but I want no part of Vandy right now. They've got weapons on offense and a legit defense. They're physical as all get out and much better tacklers than some of our guys. Plus, they believe. They're a dangerous game for anyone in this league. I'm so thankful that we get them at the end of the season. Hopefully, they'll be beaten up for us by then. If not.....look out.

Zero quality wins with losses to the only 2 good teams on their schedule will be brutal.

They also have to worry about a 10-2 G5 school being highest ranked G5 champ.

What quality wins would they have. ND is the biggest joke of a blue blood program of all time.
It's not about quality of wins with ND. They'll get in on name and eyeballs. Rules that apply to programs like UT simply do not apply to ND. Been that way since I started watching college football in the 60s.
