too many independent variables that have to line up in order for us to crack the top 25...we should just worry about the dependent variables and win football games.

If you were reffering to me, I did, back in the day. If not, sorry. I see a lot of people on this board useing "IF" alot and thought I would join in. I've found out, the only way to not be reffered to as "an idiot, stupid, jerk or newbie that doesn't know anything", on this board is, to not post. I'm just taking my chances and trying to have some fun without insulting anyone.... except gators

My previous post, while not probable, pretty much impossible and just plain stupid, it's not wrong, in the "if" world.

Maybe you were USING too much REEFER? They say it has that effect. Is that what you are referring to?

It depends on how we win (if we do). Two convincing wins gets up somewhere around 20-25 ranking. If one or both are squeakers though, we stay out.

I don't think we would be ranked. Aub has doubters out in the polling world, as well as UGA. I think both teams are weaker than the populace views them at. Beating both of them would not put us in a top 25 position. If we go and beat Bama, we break in at around 15-17.

who cares, just play to win the game...one at a time. Nobody goes back and says hey we were #20 after week 6. We say, we beat Auburn and UGA. The rankings don't matter this year, 2-3 years from now they will, but only at the end of the season. Really the same goes for this year.

yes...if UCLA also stays undefeated.

but i don't think either will happen...hope so.

I wish we had a playoff so we wouldn't have to worry about rankings but i am :horse:

nope; too early; if by some miracle we make it further into the season w/ only two losses....then different story
