I like seeing the players grow and develop. You get to know them. If Barnes could get it where he’s rotating in fresh with experience then we’ll be set.

Just reminds me of that bit I read on here earlier about Barnes going back to what he does best, is developing potential. I'm sure some elite prospects, maybe one or two, would be nice. But I'm not sure we'd be the same team if we got loaded with talent. Either way, I trust Barnes and whoever he's got his eye on.

Me too mostly. I'm stoked about where we are right now. But it's been a 4yr construction. I don't see us going for the UK/Duke paradigm. But, I do think in a "ratings" sense we'll see the Vols land more highly ranked players.
CRB would like to see the Schofields, Bones, Biwdens, Turners, & Alexanders get to this level in 1-2 years instead of 3-4. Those opens the roster for more attrition, but also can keep you among the elite without the long rebuilds.

All that is conceptual of course. It all comes down to the individuals year in and out.

It took 3 to 4 years because Coach Barnes had almost nothing when he started. Having a nice mix of talent in each class keeps success sustainable.

It is an NFL/NBA rule, I believe...not an NCAA rule.
