Are these the new Basketball Unis?

I found a video for EA Sports new NCAA Basketball 09 and noticed during the Tennessee footage the uniforms are a bit different. I'm assuming this is how they will look since the game companies usually request any uniform changes from the schools and I'm sure this new design didn't come just out of the blue.

at least it isnt that stupid new Nike design that TUOS and UF have been sporting. from what i saw of the team roster photos, yes those are the new uni's with the new design on the side

They're fugly. Is that supposed to be a cowhide pattern on them? If so, why? Maybe snake is right and it's for the Chick-fil-a game?
