I supported Dooley up until this point. This game was a must win. Unless he pulls a miracle in the next two weeks, count me out.

I'm a Dooley supporter and a Tennessee fan I don't come on here and bash the team for losing we are actually improving we're in all games in the fourth quarter... The past few year we haven't even competed. If you give it time things will work out for the good...And bray is right our fans jus abandon this team after the Florida game no wonder our players say stuff like that our fanbase is awful. You guys need to chill.. They really need to delete this message board is becoming pretty pathetic . Go Vols

There was big group who wanted Chavous gone. He isn't looking so bad now is he? I don't know who we could have gotten to take the mess Hamilton and Kiffin left, and I appreciate he is giving it his best shot. Last night's performance was pathetic. I am not giving up on the team or the coaches - it is my team and I will support them but even my patience at rebuilding is waning.

I support Dooley. The rest of you are dumb. No one will want to come here with all u dumb ass critics hating on everyone. Idc if he is 0-100 as long as he is the coach I will support him or anyone else. Every recruit in the nation knows how much crap y'all talk about our program. Why would they wanna come play here? Dooley can recruit obviously, how else is he getting 4-5 star guys to come to a program with our recent record. What's he saying? Come play for us we suck?

I still believed in Dooley before last night, and I still believe in him now. But I am on the edge of abandoning his ship.

Our offense played well as a whole, I thought. We ran the ball when we wanted to. Our first drive was excellent. CP is a monster.

Our defense has some playmakers, but looks lost alot. And much of that is the new scheme (which everyone agreed would take alot of getting used to).

If we didn't have a new defense and were still getting beat in these games, I'd say Dooley was the problem. But who really knows? I can't judge Dooley on a new defense, when we knew it would have problems in the first year.

Things need to get better though, and alot of the special teams and mistakes are on him.

He was in the pressbox which I'm sure wasn't the easiest thing. If Neal doesn't get hurt, DY probably doesn't get that carry or fumble the ball.

I understand the Florida loss after watching the recently, and I was impressed with how we played much of the GA game. This game, however, along with the Kentucky game last year have me believing Dooley may not be the Allen Iverson that we need.

I believe that under pressure from Big mouth fans, they could do something more stupid than keeping Dooley another year.

lol. took us 3 years to coach our kids to play 4 quarters. at this rate I guess Dooley will win a game in 35 years

Count me in as a hopeful Dooley supporter. I will support him all season and then make an assessment from there.

The commenters on wbir.com still believe in Dooley. Just go read the ones for the Rock painting story. Here's a sample:

EVERY Vols fan I have spoken to since last night(I go to UT) has agreed that they want Dooley gone last night around midnight. Idk how people defend him still. When we are 3-5 and 0-5 in the SEC I just want to punch anyone in the face who defends him. You are just dumb at that point.

i still support him.he walked into a mess and it will take him or anyone more than three years to get this program back from where its been.

I know. Seeing those comments made me realize what the typical "fan" is willing to deal with. It's like they'd reather be nice than be honest. One lady over there said it best...

"The UT football team is made up of kids. Many of them are no more than 17 years old. They, regardless of their coaching, make mistakes. They will fumble, they will throw interceptions, and they will lose"....."Support your team, support your kids, and support your coach."

This comment was received with thunderous applause (aka thumbs up). wtf?

I think the better question you need to ask is why we still have a kicker who can't consistently do the one single freaking job he's there to do.
