Until he proves he can win a big game, I'll never be sold that he's anything more than a good recruiter. Today was the day that I fell off the "Butch Jones band wagon."

I'm afraid he has. I hope he survives but he really, desperately needs to reassess everything he thinks he knows about football.

Fans have been riding this roller-coaster ride of ups & downs since the '05 season, and we're just spent emotionally. There's a lot I (still) like about Coach Jones but I may have to step off his support train for now to save my own sanity.

I support him. He is our coach (currently). I'll support him until the day he leaves or is fired. Then, when the next coach is hired, I'll support him just the same.

Tough loss. I hurt.

I will support him til seasons end. After that it depends. If they make a bowl even hit 7 wins you gotta keep him another year for the sake of the program.

Besides, what do we haveif we don't have hope?

Just for the record, even though I still support butch, I can not blame others for saying what they are saying right now.

Yessir.....I am....supporting him....he's our best shot...it's still a long season....going 8-4 after beginning 2-2 will go a long way...

I certainly didn't BUY IN to all of the preseason hype...I stopped believing that crap after the 1990 season....had a brief relapse before the 2005 season---But Fulmer and Co. cured me forevermore...

WE are still on track to go 8-4.......

I remember when Majors started 0-6 one year and turned that into a 1 loss season the very next year...

Face it.....NEXT YEAR is make or break for Jones....

I just hope RECRUITS won't abandon ship after watching these last 2 games....but, once again--8-4 will go a long way in convincing them to stay!

I no longer support Butch. I know for damn sure I'm not the only one. He's a great recruiter, even better talker, but terrible game day coach.

However, I don't believe now is the time to fire him. We don't need to endure another firestorm like that right now.

Fan support (particularly at games) is about to drop considerably. Losing this way twice this year already and countless other times the past few seasons ... yeah. At some point you have to stop accepting the false hope that Butch keeps trying to pump the fans up with and make a stand. This is inexcusable.

Consider me firmly off the Butch wagon. I might change me mind as the rest of the season plays out. But for now I'm done with him. Fwiw

He's shown that he can't coach when it counts. We still probably go bowling this year, but he's not the answer we need.
