My second class did get canceled, though, so I'm happy about that.

Yeah my English class is cancelled because the professor is afraid to drive out of Blount County for some reason. Walking the hill this morning was a blast...:haha_oh:

I remember in 2003, I think, on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm, my class was let out early due to hard snow. It was bad. It snowed 4 inches in an hour or so, and it took me SIX HOURS to drive from campus to Seymour, which is a 30 minute drive.

The University did not close the next day.

We've only closed once in the last 25 years or so. :ermm:

I know they closed in either '93 or '94. Ice storm west and middle TN, then snow, snow, and more snow east of the plateau. Ahhhhh, good times.

Hey hohenfelsvol, Bayern arent doing too well this year huh?

Champions League they are doing better. They just fired their headcoach Magath yesterday. Brought Hitzfeld back in. They are definately slipping for a top notch team. Think Hitzfeld coming back in will turn them around and get them back into Champions League slots for next year which is where the real money is at.

Yeah I noticed that, thought it was a bit unfair on Magath...losing Hargreaves to Man U in the summer wont help! You in Germany?

The University closed for two days in January 87. Way back then in the olden days on quarters, we got back from Christmas break on Monday, did the 2 days of registration, had 1 day of class, then off the next 2. What a great way to start the term.

Not anymore. Am in Orlando. Mother and wife both full blooded and I'm 1/2 Tennessean and 1/2 German. Spent many years over there north of Munich by about an hour. Didn't think the Hargreaves deal was done yet. He does really want to get to England. We'll see.

I knew it. The University of Tennessee has no class.:)

:lolabove: :lolabove: :eek:lol: :lolabove: ARE YOU SERIOUS??? YAH YOU'RE ONE TO TALK. Your head coach just used an ethnic slur, nice one there. Oh whoops forgot about the drunk girl that kissed Saban and got arrested for DUI fight after that. Oh and I do believe I remember something about cheating in there too. I believe you better shut your mouth because no one with maybe the exception of a losing Florida, LSU, or Georgia fan has lower class than your fine institution in Tuscolusa.

I remember, I think it was 8 years ago, where we had 4 snow days in a row, and then the weekend.
