I have this game recorded, was it as boring as the score suggests? If so I won't waste my time.

My take is that it was easy money to take Arch under 230 passing yards. Soon many fans are disillusioned with high expectations for new starting QBs..Most need an adjustment period to get acclimated to the speed.

The announcer said “Arch gets his athletic ability from his mother”.

Obviously the clown never watched video of grandfather Archie.

I thought Texas' D looked incredibly good. They usually had really great coverage on elite receivers. They played well enough for Texas to win the game if the offense had only gotten on the bus and traveled with the team.

I would say at this point its hard to tell how good and or not Arch is going to be. Kid has talent no doubt. I do think that talent level he played against in HS hasn't helped his transition to the SEC. I know , I know Peyton and Eli played at the same school. Maybe they were just that much better. Maybe the talent level dropped significantly later on. Does make you wonder if he had went to a school like IMG if he wouldn't have been a little more prepared. To me that is the entire reason he was behind QE.

I bet Peyton and Eli were more motivated than Arch.
