June was a busy month for 2025 four-star Bryant (Ark.) running back Daniel Anderson. While camping at several programs, Anderson – the No. 2 ranked player in the state of Arkansas by Rivals – earned offers from Mississippi State, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Following a busy month that included a camp appearance in Knoxville, the talented tailback has Tennessee high on his list.

"Notre Dame and Tennessee are standing out the most [right now]," Anderson told VolReport.
Anderson's camp at Tennessee was a positive one that ended with him earning an offer.

"It was very smooth and well thought out," Anderson said. "I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere the coaches provided during my whole visit and the camp. I think I did really well on going all-out in the drills and executing them how they were meant to be."

The camp provided the four-star an opportunity to begin to work with Tennessee running backs coach Jerry Mack and offensive assistant Aston Walter.

"I really enjoyed getting to meet both of them during the camp," Anderson said. "Coach Mack and Coach Walter had some great drills set up for us to improve our skills."
Another program that Anderson camped at that left a significant impression on him was Notre Dame.

"The camp at Notre Dame was great," Anderson said. "t was very well organized, and the staff made it highly enjoyable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the enthusiasm they brought to the table. They gave me a really welcoming feel. "

While at Notre Dame, Anderson was able to connect with running backs coach Deland McCullough.

"Coach McCullough had lots of energy at the camp and spoke to us on a real player-to-player level and made it enjoyable while learning new drills to sharpen our skills," Anderson said.

Anderson plans to be back in South Bend on July 30.
It would not be a surprise at all to see Anderson return to Tennessee for a fall visit this year.

"I'm hoping to visit all the schools who have offered me [for a gameday visit this fall]," Anderson said.

One school to monitor that has yet to offer Anderson is Arkansas. An offer from the Razorbacks would certainly place them squarely in the mix for the running back.

"It would be an honor to receive an offer from them, especially with them being the team I grew up cheering for – and my dad played for them," Anderson said of Arkansas.

From Rivals:

The high three-star running back from Bryant, Ark., had been rumored to be backing off his Notre Dame pledge for a while and it finally happened Thursday.

Now there are two programs to particularly watch in his recruitment – Washington and Arizona – and there is some hope that Tennessee could be next in line to get more involved in his recruitment.
