The SEC cannibalism is hurting the voted polls but the computers still rank SEC much higher than any other conference.

Top-6 RPI is SEC and 8 of 12 and 11 of 25.
The Vols have now played 4 top -25 RPI teams

Texas is clearly #1

I believe the rest of the top-10 is completely random

I agree, the other UT is in the drivers seat for now, but obviously being SEC regular season champs carries a ton of weight. RPI and SOS play a part as do bad losses and good road wins. Win the series this weekend makes last week a wash, lose, then momentum becomes a factor as does over all health.

D1 64 projection show today had us as the #6 national seed , Texas , LSU , Fla State, Arkansas , UNC , Tn , Clemson , UC Irvine , Vandy and Ga was their top 10

I'm working on the rankings in the next hour or so.

Never been a season of so much mayhem in ranked teams. Another week where a huge number was .500 and below.

We are the lowest ranked team with 11 losses. Like half the teams above us have more. Tx staying number 1 after a sweep is absurd, because D 1 has been punishing teams all year for that.

It's not only what happened the week before, but also takes in account things like losing 4 of the last 5 series, 3 of them at home. That was the only series loss for Texas.

The BaseVols are scheduled to play Belmont next week. We need to watch who may cancel games next week that will negatively affect RPI ratings:
