applying to UT

Good luck! I got in before the HOPE scholarship...so it was more like who is GOING to UT next semester...they let everyone in, I think.

But, from what I understand it's a lot harder to get in now...I think the average ACT score has gone up like 3points since I got here.

Me too, I got in the year before. The requirements for getting in has dramatically went up. Thank goodness I got in before they went up b/c I probably could not get in now.

Unless your high school GPA is 1.5 or below..you'll get into UT. Enjoy it! I have been to many college campuses and nothing beats UT! Well, Notre Dame is close, but ND does not have the strip!

i have to say... and I DESPISE unc, but chapel hill's campus is the best i've ever seen. they even have a very good version of the strip

I couldn't go there... My senior English teacher in HS was a UNC grad, and a complete a-hole.

It is a pretty nice campus, but as someone who went to UT..I find it hard to say its that much better. It is very nice, but when I compare it to ND, its not even close.

i apologize. i'm not saying unc's campus is a lot better than ut's, just that it is beautiful. I love ut's campus fwiw. never been to ND so i can't stake a claim on that one.

It is alot tougher.Good luck.Besides GPA and ACT scores, stress your community involvements as well.
