Apple Watch starts at $349, coming early next year.

I think you need the phone for it to access info.

I can't see it being below 299 but I'm sticking with 399 for the entry level

Maybe. Of course one was gold & the other aluminum so they most likely will have different price points.

So what does the sizes of teh 2 phones compare to so I can go out and get an idea physically of size? My sister has a Note and that thing is huge, so don't want to go that big.

They are 4.7 and 5.5. The Note 3 I believe is 5.7. The 4.7 is probably close to the Galaxy S3?

I have a Note 2 and I believe it's 5.5. Its definite a large phone and I can understand why some will prefer the smaller 4.7-inch variety.

So still no expandable storage? I think it's crappy that Apple makes you pay that much for a phone that's not expandable, especially considering 16 gigs is useless to most people and they have dropped their 32 gig versions.

I'll probably stick with the 4.7. Other than size, are there big differences btwn the 6 and the 6+

Honestly, did their announcement blow any of y'all away? I just don't see the reason for the excitement in the market or on social media (and in this thread) for the launch.

I can understand those who have (all) Apple products wanting to keep continuity in their personal tech life. I just don't see the innovation in this launch or the last one (iPhone 5) that made Apple so special under Jobs.

The excitement isn't what it used to be because of leaks and the discussion for months prior to the actual release. Even though I won't get one, the Apple Watch looks pretty cool

I don't understand the big deal unless you're keeping one phone forever.

I think the 6 Plus looks very sweet. However, I'm not sure it will be easy to use as a phone, although I use Bluetooth in the car so it would only matter at home.

Space Gray or Silver?

Did you watch the presentation? The watch is pretty cool and shows that Apple is able to innovate even though Jobs is now gone.

There are at least a half dozen android watches on the market. Not sure I would call it mind blowing given some of the details

Doesn't seem like any of the Android models have really caught on. Should be interesting if Apple can market this into a mainstream product.

Same with Apple pay. Several have tried and failed.

And the software available and functionality of those is not even in the same ballpark with what was detailed today.

I run sound for events and keep a lot of music on my phone. Not having large storage or swappable storage is a pain. I also use my phone as a camera and store my pics on it. Not a fan of the cloud.

And I do keep phones a while, I am still using my 4S. It's a 64 GB phone but the wife had the same with a 16GB and it became useless until she got a new phone last month.
