I would like to say that I applaud Bray for wanting to get back in and win the game... Bray shows a passion to win even when other players may be wanting to give up... you can't coach a player to have a strong desire to win, that has to come from within... and when it does, you want that guy on your team...

Go Bray!

And GBO!

If I were in his position, I would feel pretty damn lucky that I get to miss October.. good thing I'm not, eh?

Hope Bray gets back in 4 weeks - not 6! Go Bray!

He was the first one to step in the field and high five the team when we got the late touchdown against UGA. Gotta love his spirit. We got lucky with this one.

I was in row 8 of section S and had a pretty good view of Bray on the sidelines after it happened. When the coaches touched his hand, he was in obvious pain. As they were scrambling for the wrap that they ended up putting on his hand, Bray was using his other hand to put his helmet back back on. He wanted back in really bad... He even tried gripping a ball with the wrap on his hand, but it wasn't happening.

That being said, I was proud of Matt for stepping up and help finishing the drive.

was watching this young man mature and play lights out. Everyone will see what we are going to miss the next 6 weeks. Having said that I wish Simms the best obviously but it will not be the same by any stretch.

I was watching that too. He didn't want to be out and had to be told to put the ball down and take his helmet off.

Bray went out and encouraged Simms too. He wants to win no matter what. You can't coach that. We need more guys with that spirit.

Bray is a competitor. He was lighting up members of the team throughout the 3rd Quarter.

We don't know what routes were called, but those out-routes he was missing are timing routes. He seemed to be pretty mad at the receivers... namely DR. It's very possible that DR was being lazy on his routes, causing the timing to be off. I'm sure Bray has been frustrated as h3ll with the drops and other gaffes the receivers have (tripping over your feet? C'mon man) and is trying to light some fire under them.

The receiving corps as a whole seemed really hard hit by the loss of Hunter.

I feel like that is what this team is built on we will win sooner rather than later. No matter what this team does not stop competing. It reminds me alot of Sabans early LSU teams

Bray is the real deal. He's obviously crazy talented from a throwing perspective, but he's also a gamer, he's tough, he's competitive, and he appears to have an excellent rapport with the rest of the team. I hate that he got hurt.

From the pictures of today's practice, it seemed that Bray was still being a leader i.e, leading players through calisthenics, being visible, etc. Good to see.

After the missed extra point, D. Rogers was upset and threw a mini tantrum. Bray got in his face (calmly, not aggressive) and tried to get him to settle down. Don't know what he said, don't even really care, but I loved the leadership and the fact that Bray put his own disappointment on the back burner to be a team leader. :salute:

I love Bray as well as the rest of the teams passion for UT. I am sure I will take heat for this one but also am very impressed with Matt Simms' maturity. He will never be the quarterback he was hyped to be but he has handled the demotion with class and has always appeared to be one of Bray's leading cheerleaders each time he comes to the sidelines.
Simms will probably take a beating over the next few weeks, and most of them will be because he holds on to the ball too long, but I bet he never quits. Come on Matt prove us all wrong!!!

I just hope Bray does not try to rush his recovery.. seems the type to me to tell coaches he has no pain and is good to go when he is not, just to try and get back on the field.. I hope they let him heal completely and just use simms for the rest of the season..

There is to much riding on next season, and we just need to focus on getting our guys back for when we have a shot at doing something big

Although I can certainly see why he would, this is not a good thing to see from Da'Rick.

1st bigtime night game in Neyland?, 1st SEC power game that we had a shot in the 4th?......1st time playing GEORGIA and being relied on for UT?....Losing Bray right after Hunter?....and finally, a missed extra point, really? He's 19, he got it together quickly. I'm 25, and I get animated in my living room. I'm just sidewalk alum.....he's putting all he has into it.
