My favorite part of VN is the lack of evidence/articles/links
But hey, when everyone has a source, it's gotta be legit. :) My "source" used to be Paul Fortenberry's first cousin who's a good friend of mine. I always felt like I had 'inside info' on some players/recruits but I never brought it here to avoid starting some crazy rumor that ended up not panning out. I'm gonna leave that to the media guys that get paid to do that stuff and read the free grumors here. :)

The rumor at one point was that Tee is the one who brought the allegations to light, but who knows. It'll get resolved in due time. We need to be careful not to unintentionally spread baseless rumors... sometimes making public guesses can lead to that so let's just wait and see how it plays out. Don't forget that there are families involved here.
What this bunch spread false rumors????? You have to be joking....

Rumor is it was JG’s dad. However anyone who would know that for sure is certainly not going to even hint about that, so it’s highly speculative. Take w grain of salt

Clearly we suck at cheating. We need to fire the coaches and get ones who can at least get some victories for the cheating.

A version of this was asked 4 or 5 times so let me pose my response this way: Why in the world would I name the individual that told me this? So they could possibly be fired and blackballed by UT?

And for what? So a bunch of people I don't know on a message board will anoint me some "insider"? Yeah, let me go right ahead and tell you who told me this so the virtual handjobs can commence...

I get that anybody can come on here and say whatever they want, so if you choose to ignore, or call BS that's fine. I'm not here for some sort of e-cred or anything like that. Ask someone you trust that is connected if you want to verify. Or take the information and digest it. Your call.

You guys realize that even attempting to fire Pruitt for cause sends a big red flag to any potential coaches? What decent head coach in his right mind would think..."gee whiz...this looks great. If I screw up and don't win enough games they will cook up a reason to not only fire me...but drag my name through the mud and refuse to pay the buyout clause in my signed contract. This sounds awesome." No...instead they will say "take your Rocky Top and Power T and shove em up your cheap azzes."

like coaches have been knocking down doors to come to Tennessee and this mess anyway.

All it takes is the right one and the right amount of $.

Just my opinion.

stupid post. We want to win. Auburn and Texas just fired coaches with far better records than CJP. It’s time to stop seeking for mediocrity. He should be fired for awful losses anyways

Why bring it up in the first place? Your lips are sealed...a little too late.

we are at the point where that would be the best thing Tee has done for the university lol
Hahahah.
Wow. I can't really argue that.

National Championships are nice, but getting rid of terrible HCs named after a Southern Vegetable is much more valuable.
