On behalf of UT - because he believes he’d listen, and Davis thinks he could sell the program. But crickets from the administration.

They were discussing it on FS Knoxville

If there was one sliver of hope to get Shaw here they should have jumped on it already, offered him 8-9 million a year, and been done with this BS.

i'd be shocked if he left as well. my intent is just to illustrate this administration's refusal to use the plentiful resources that are out there, that could and would help them.

Fair. I also can’t see why he would even consider us unless we quintuple his salary and make every cent guaranteed.

yeah, and i'm not sure that would do it.

people are going to have to let these type of coaches go.

they weren't all that realistic two weeks ago, and they certainly aren't realistic now.

David Shaw ain’t leaving except to the NFL, and it’s a crime that Charles Davis is not a face of this university. Probably our most eloquent spokesperson in the media.

Yeah, there is no doubt about that. I like shaw alot too, but i wouldnt waste any time on here. He doesnt even take calls about it. Several nfl teams have contacted him in the past. He doesnt even entertain it.

Charles Davis should butt out and not interfere with Currie's flawless execution of Haslam's plan to make UT a winless feeder system of players for his winless Cleveland Browns. Anybody can try to win, but it takes vision to be the undisputed worst at something! Haslam will soon corner the market. Pure Dr. Evil-level genius is little Jimmy.
