Solid pitching and defense.... handful of dingers. Very encouraging opening series.

Absolutely! Just skipped around the replay on sec+. All 3 pitchers looked good again and defensively solid. Need some hitters to step up next week but I am sure they will. Week one prediction: tourney team and NOT just Hoover. Strong pitching and defense can do wonders for avg hitting. Oh, and did I mention we have two catchers?!
