Never would've thought South Carolina would be our easiest SEC game this year. Regardless of their roster.

This is proof of what I have said on previous occasions which is that winning makes your schedule look worse and losing makes your schedule look tougher.

If Tennessee lost to Georgia, Georgia is 5-1 and probably ranked in the top 15.

However, Tennessee beat Georgia and now Georgia is 4-2 and unranked.

But but they beat Stanford...and the PAC 12 is like....really good this year. I mean....they have Arizona state, crap they aren't ranked.

Well, they have Oregon, crap they aren't ranked either.

Oooo ooooo....They have USC and they are going to be in the college football playoff this year...uhoh they aren't ranked either.

It honestly is flawed.
We know a few unranked teams that could compete/win against the bottom third of that list.

Yea anyone that watched that Utah and Cal game last night cannot tell me that Utah is the 4th best team in the country. This has been one of the strangest college football seasons I can remember already.

Wow...Them chomping Gators are ranked 8th & we had them beat & on the ropes. Holy Toledo, even Toledo is ranked. Memphis is 27th & playing great football too. The college football world is almost upside down.

Would it be rude of me to point out that what we "Sunshine Pumpers" were told was "the worst Florida team in years," is now #8 in the nation?:dunno::)

You all are going to dismiss this, but roster wise, it is the worst Florida team in years.

However, we have a football coach now.

So, there's that.

You guys are seriously over achieving and I would guess you know that. But that's why we actually play the games and don't just use bench stats!!

That's a good question. Most 4-3 teams wouldn't be ranked, but if we Bama (especially if they beat A&M) I think we would at least get some votes. If we beat Bama, we will likely win out, and we would probably break into the top 15 by season's end.

Get ready to be argued that your roster is loaded because for pure coaching to succeed it takes 4-6 years.

Actually I agree with him.
But I also know that their "worst roster in years" was very on par with our current roster. At least using the numbers Daj put together. Maybe he somehow just made it look that way but I've never had any reason to believe he would do so. But anyway...
JM is a great coach by all things witnessed.

The playoff has been designed so that no more than one SEC teem, and at least 3 NON SEC teams, have a chance at an NC. Fact! :rtfm:
