How the hell is a team we beat by 20+ points ranked ahead of us?
Because they dropped 4 spots from last week and we rose one spot, so we gained 5 spots on them.

This has been discussed ad nauseam on this board. You don't look at one head-to-head matchup and apply the transitive property on these things with so many variables. If that's all it was, we'd be ranked ahead of Houston and Kentucky would be ranked ahead of us.

In either case, if you're losing your mind over a team we beat being ranked #24 while we're #25, you have way too much time on your hands. This isn't football where teams are jockeying for a CFP invite.

Houston is 19-2 and KY is 15-7. The Vols and Louisville have identical records of 15-6. The Vols definitely have a legit argument to be ranked ahead because of the 21 point beatdown they put on the Cardinals. UT probably should have never left the top 25 imo and that is why Louisville is ahead one spot in the AP.
