SEC was loaded last year but the top teams are rebuilding, or retooling if you prefer. Tenn looks to be a mid conference team and very likely to drop out in the next 2-3 weeks. No consistent offense and definitely no crunch time offense. Not a good 3 point shooting team and weak inside offensive game.

You can add a bad free throw shooting team, but I have to disagree with a weak inside offensive game

TAMU win isn’t good enough to move us up to a safe spot on its own. Kentucky is most likely a must win to stay ranked.

Doesn’t get easier after that with a tough road test at bama as our only game the following week. Hard to say if a loss here would knock us out, too dependent on what everyone else does, but if we can finish this week ranked, we should be good for the season.

I agree we are one of the top 25 most talented but as good as Barnes is, he hasn't figured out the right chemistry and sub patterns to get this team in rhythm. Houston Cougars have 1 loss this year and its to the Vols, we can play with and beat anybody but the right players need to get in sync and if not we can lose to any top 25 right now , its just not coming together yet. Still have time but they better get it figured out soon.

If anyone can figure it out, it’s Barnes. It just might not be possible with this crew.

Florida has a 3 headed monster in the front court. Their guards just have to be serviceable. Hopefully their guards go back to how they were playing to start the year come SEC tournament time.

Really solid stretch for the Vols this week. 2 tough road wins and short handed win over Auburn. Should be back in the top 25 now.

As much as I will dislike it, Florida may win 2 NCAA championships in a row again😯
