Congrats to Jordy and Ms. Jackson!!
Not a chance there are 15 better players this year than these two.
What's the criteria used when these selection are made? Is it based on stats, impact on team, maybe both.

Probably both. Haley Jones would have been a lock for first team if Stanford did not underachieve (by their standards). Likewise, Zia Cooke wouldn't be on the list with her somewhat middling stats if not for the fact that she's the leading scorer on the best team in the country. If Tennessee lived up to their pre-season billing and Jackson had the same stats, I have no doubt she would have been named on one of the three AA teams. There seems to be exceptions for players with eye-popping stats but on mediocre teams (ex. Morrow and DePaul)...assuming that not much was expected of the team to start with.

Make that 18. The AA release lists the 3 "top" honorable mentions and it does not include either RJ or JH. Then the release notes all you have to do to be Hon Men is be listed on one ballot. So at best the 19th and 20th best players in the country? Pure and simple hogwash.

Good job by both putting up the numbers they put up with as little talent as they apparently have. And good job fooling the WNBA into thinking they are top 5 draft picks.

Not sure what the AA award is supposed to mean or be based on, but this is idoicy.
