Today's ANZAC Day. It's heartening how the Aussies and Kiwis continue the commemoration.

Gallipoli was such a disaster.

Finished Peter Hart’s Gallipoli late last year. Heartbreaking what the troops on both sides suffered through. Been fascinated with the history of that portion of the war since first seeing the movie Gallipoli with Mel Gibson. Also enjoyed The Water Diviner.
