Crouch wracked up 80 tackles and 5 sacks this pass season for MSU.👍.

He'd have to sit a year to move again since he used his freebie, unless he could do it as a grad transfer.

I agree he should not be in pass coverage. Like at all. But imo there is always a spot for him somewhere.

Maybe he can play guard, end or tackle. He can guard the waterbucket at the end of the bench, and tackle anyone who goes near it.

Water bucket. You just revealed you're an old timer too. I love the verbiage of days gone by.

Back in the day, most teams had a guy, usually a local who was the 'water boy'. With our guy you could think 'Radio' the movie. He wasn't as slow as Radio but he sure loved the football team. His nickname was Mouse and he carried the water for the school for over 40 years. He carried it when my dad played in 1937-40 and he carried it when I graduated in 70 and he was still carrying it when I left. When I played the 'water bucket' was 2 wire racks of glass milk bottles, 12 total. I know there was a time when the bucket and dipper was used. Until I was 6, our family got our water from a well with a hand pump and everyone drank from the same aluminum dipper.

Thanks for stirring up those memories.

We used a gourd and the water bucket was hanging on the porch overhand to help keep the water a cool as possible.
