Anyone watching Sarks game for Falcons? Plus Applewhite news?

I watched the Falcons game and I thought his offense looked pretty good. It isn't his fault that Ryan missed throw after throw. All he can do is draw up the plays - he can't play them for them too.

I agree. Seems Sark was doing ok, but they need to sober up Matt Ryan.

well I for one will wait for the ho hum hire, UT way isn't to go BIG. Besides falling into Coach Barnes, they don't ever bring in a huge name

What does that even mean? He just finished 1st in the NFC in yardage and 3rd in the NFL in QBR.
Before today, was 3rd in yards, 4th in completions, 3rd in %, 6th in TD, and 5th in QBR but man it always seems he throws a pick or takes a sack at the absolute worst time. Don’t think that’s reality but it feels like it. Season was lost with the injuries, won the last 3 and went from picking top 5 to middle of the rounds, maybe they should have took the ‘Hawks’ route but even they aren’t cooperating the last few days.

I want nothing to do with Sark. He has the best offensive weapons package outside of the Saints and he can't do shite with um!

Matt Ryan having his best season statistically. Not Sark's fault on the ground game as Freeman has been on IR most of the season.

I think Manuel gets fired as the Falcons defensive coordinator after CDQ evaluates his staff and Sark stays as offensive coordinator according to the AJC.

He can recruit too. He knows ‘the process’ from Bama like Pruitt is trying to mimic.

From the one season he was there before Saban canned him? Also if you were a young HC still trying to find his way, would you hire a guy that one of your biggest mentors had fired?

Please dont make revisionist history. Sark has only been fired once when he was terminated at USC due to alcohol. His career has been upwardly mobile starting as a quaterback coach. After leaving USC, he spent a year at BAMA as a consultant and then OC only for Championship game. He left BAMA for the OC job for the Atlanta Falcons. Saban did NOT fire him.

What about Canes OC Thomas Brown now that Richt has retired? He has been a OC in the SEC and played and coached in the SEC and is a good recruiter also? Just curious??
You like what they put out there this past season?

Applewhite was fired off of Sabans first Bama staff.

Pruitt will hire who he wants, hope it’s Sark, but if it’s not I trust Pruitt. He is the first coach Tennessee has had since Fulmer that actually his first priority is winning football games.

The Falcons cleaned house of everyone below the HC. So if he's the guy we should know by tomorrow. Same with Yurich. But if reports are accurate about Pruitt being in no hurry to fill the position are true, who knows. It's not like the new OC needs to be working already, looking at film of the team and film of opponents or anything else. Our offense is so good already, there's no need to get things started with a new coach.

My question is If we don't hear anything today about the OC does that take Sark and Kitchens off the OC board?

I don’t think you would see Sark fired and announced at Tennessee in same day.

Usually a 3 day turnaround on firing’s and hires.

You were saying? And Saban told him to go find a job. If your boss told you that????
I still think Sark could be a solid hire.
