As OC for the Falcons? Most think he is fired tomorrow and watching this game explains why, can’t get to 100 yards in a half with All Pro QB and All Pro WR against the 3rd worst D in the NFL.

That said, Major Applewhite was fired today and would be a huge hire. Was Pruitt at Bama the same time as Applewhite?

But the commentators were saying letting Sark go would be bad. This is Matt Ryan's second best season statistically.

Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, who has been with the team for two seasons, "is seriously at risk" of losing his job, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

After finishing No. 1 in scoring in 2016 under ex-coordinator Kyle Shanahan, the Falcons fell to No. 15 in 2017 with Sarkisian calling plays. Atlanta improved to No. 11 in 2018, but a struggling ground game and red-zone woes marred the attack. The 6-9 Falcons will miss the playoffs after they made the Super Bowl in 2016 and reached the divisional round last season.

Rapoport reported that ex-Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who was on the same 'Hawks staff as current Falcons head coach Dan Quinn when the latter was a Seattle defensive coordinator, could take the job.

This is funny tho

What about Canes OC Thomas Brown now that Richt has retired? He has been a OC in the SEC and played and coached in the SEC and is a good recruiter also? Just curious??

Falcons really don't want to win so they'll get much better draft picks. Sark will be announced as next Vols OC soon. Book it.

I can hear it on the recruiting trail now....

Go play for the Vols where they have a OC that was fired in Atlanta and run out of the NFL.

Lord, please help us.

I would bet Yurcich was never officially offered despite the rumors
He was talked to weeks ago to gauge his interest, turned down advances from UT. His camp is putting this out there now to leverage for the Ohio State job. That's why all the info is coming from okie state, hes telling his favorite beat writer.

I could believe that. I would wager his agent leaked that. Timing is just too perfect with the Ohio State rumors and the fact that we probably have our hire next week with the NFL season ending. IF Sark is named next week I believe he was always going to be the guy.

Better fit offensively for what Pruitt has seen be successful at Bama. Has familiarity with Pruitt as well. Now I'm sure we talked to some people and I'm sure some were backup plans but I think Pruitt wants someone he has past history with.
