Anyone watching Nico tonight?

just woke up and watched the highlights..........Hope Big NICK enjoyed every minute of that. Looks like there were plenty of seats available for the home opener, may get the whole samoan nation in there.

I think if there is anything we can take from all of this is that the vast majority of the talking heads have NO clue what they are talking about. All of season we have heard nothing but how much of a step back UT was going to take because of Nico....how limited Heupel would be. There was a reason Nico and co took a huge pay cut when they over played their hand...there was no market for him at the price he was asking. Every coach in the country who runs successful programs passed for a reason. If any of them thought he could help win, they would have snatched him up. Don't really blame Nico...he is just a victim of bad advice.

Aren’t you a bit curious how he will do. I’m thinking if his dad is a heavily involved as believed I am faulting his dad 99%. Think about it what kid doesn’t follow his dad’s advice? I know I did. I love my dad. I wanted to please him. I’m sure if it’s true of Nico he is just pleasing his dad. It’s ok to give an opinion but not push it off on someone not even your kids.
Who?

They got the brakes beat off them! Hope he’s happy, wait no I don’t!😂😂😂

SIAP, just didn’t want to read any more of the misery.

I took a peak at the game before I went to bed. There was over 5 minutes left UCLA losing BIG, Nico still in the game, and they ran the ball 3 straight times in the middle for little to no gain and punted. Wouldn’t even let him throw it.

Idk how long Deion is going go to coach for. Looks like he’s over it already
Yeah. His ego will finally get in the way of all that work being a college coach is. The hype train has just about derailed there and reality is setting in. He looks like a guy looking for a excuse to resign at this point..

I watched. He wasn't good.. Neither was most of his team. The NM transfers played well for the Utes.

After that game I’m wondering how much Nico even cares about football other than a way to provide his family with money. Just looked so disinterested. I’m wondering how much time he’s really investing into getting better as a QB. He looked like he had regressed as a QB not got better. His surrounding talent was pitiful. There is zero chance he starts this entire year; unlikely he makes it through the year healthy with that line.
Exactly I evened said that early when he was here. He seemed very disinterested when reporters asked about the team and I kept thinking this guy is not a natural born leader. He will need to try to learn it or just don't see him leading any team.

Correct. I've been saying it since JA got here. We upgraded tremendously.
