I do it quiet frequently and I get HD and standard from for many Knoxville local channels. I can tune in the main football channels CBS, ABC, Fox, sometimes i have problems with NBC and have to tweak antenna a little if you want to see Notre Dame. I have had no problem viewing these channels with a $10.00 antenna. Only thing that sucks is you can not get ESPN but most big games don't come on till after 5 anyway and I am headed to Neyland.
