Anyone upset about the playcalling now....

Worley's tough... but he can't connect downfield. If he could, they would back off and he would have more time.

lol, yeah Worley is tough but when he missed that wide open guy for 6 early on, I knew he'd better have a plan B in life.

I've been pleased so far but that run on 3rd and 5 is still questionable.

So far we just aren't as good as they are. Sometimes that's just how it is. Maybe that changes in the 2nd half.

I don't like throwing 3 yards short and hoping for a broken tackle to pick up a third down conversion. That may turn out ok against the MAC teams , but you have to start aggressive and stay aggressive if you want to beat anybody worth a damn.

I don't think they like throwing it short anyways because our WRs are simply better than their DBs but I think the protection issues are forcing us to limit the mid and deep passes when UGA actually pressures.

A run on 3rd and 5 is not a bad thing if the back(Lane) lowers his shoulder and runs instead of running in place in the hole.

I'm glad I'm not a coach. Would be tough to resist the temptation to send someone else out there when your starter is throwing like that.

Alright that was stupid. Starting safety out and you run the ball twice and force yourself into 3rd and long. We're not potent running team. Why are we pretending to be one?

Get some positive yardage on first down and we're in good shape.

Worley can't throw it long. We're pretty limited offensively anyways. Intermediate or short passes are the only things working it seems. We're squandering good field position and turnovers though.

All a team has to do is watch our film for the first 3 games and last year. Nothing has changed much. If I'm a DC for the other team, I don't even worry about our:sad: Worley running the ball. To make a spread/flex whatever you want to call it work, you have got to have a QB like a Nick Marshall, who is a threat to run the ball every time or pass. Butch is asking a kid is was recruited to be a pocket passer and run a pro style offense to run a spread. Duh!

When the announcers are questioning the play calls, it's time to pay attention...especially when they CONSISTENTLY talk about it.
