had this program going in the right direction needs his head examined.

SmokyVol said that he was a great recruiter? Lets evaluate the 2009 class, which is the reason we still haven't climbed out of this hole.

11 players in that class of 22 were 4 or 5 stars.

8/11 ARE GONE. Including both 5 stars and all of the 6.0 ranked 4 stars.

I drank the Kiffinaide, but in hindsight he was awful. How anyone can defend his classes is beyond me.

He brought in thugs. If you're in dire need of money, don't rob a gas station. I'm sure you could atleast get a $100 handshake somewhere.

I think a lot of those players whether we'd want them or not would still be here in Kiffin didn't take the USC job.

All I had to see was him letting the clock run out vs bama.

I felt the same way. I didn't think we could win that game until Stocker caught the pass inside the 30. I was ok with the running play we tried on the next play.
But, I gave up on that game as soon as I saw he was going to let all of the time tick off and kick. We had already proven in that game that we could not make a FG from that distance. We needed another 8-10 yards to be in our FG range for that day.
I began to doubt after that game, whether we'd be able to win the big games with Kiffin, should he get us to the point that we were in Bama's position going into a game like that.

This thread again? 2009 class was terrible, 2010 class invaluable.

but look at it from kiffy's perspective.

let lincoln kick. if he muffs it, blame is on lincoln. iirc, kiffy claimed that he did not know that lincoln was hurt even though somehow tim priest knew about it.

run another play, and if cromp tosses a pick then kiffy takes the heat for an idiotic call.

kiffy is a great salesman and did all he could to build his image.

Bray? J James? And if he was still here BB would be starting over tumbling T Poole. Most of them would probably be here that left. Say what you want about his character. He brings in top ten classes.
