Anyone supporting Schiano read this

This is by far the most ridiculous post I've ever seen on here. It is 100% a person's responsibility to report the rape of a child to the police. In fact, as a grown *** man in a position that works with children, it was his responsibility to step in the shower and stop it! You, sir, are a ****ing moron!

No Mr. Hutch, this guy is not a moron. He isn’t smart enough to be a moron! More like a lizard brain.

Stop embarrassing UT with your anti-Schiano nonsense. Schiano was an underling--an assistant coach. It was neither his job nor responsibility to do anything. What, you think the whole athletic department is going to quit--lose their jobs--because JoePa's buddy was rumored to be a creep? Get off your moral high horse. JoePa and the AD and the university president were ultimately responsible, no one else. No one cares about this now but a few crazies. I repeat, you are embarassing the unversity. As if two weeks of adolescent drooling over Gruden--who never even remotely considered coaching UT--wasn't embarrassing enough.
You are truly a moron. Positions in an athletic department mean absolutely nothing in the case of a child being raped. At the very least, a person should call the police. A more fitting response would be to beat the hell out of the offender then call the police. To say a person, witnessing something like that, isn't responsible past telling his superior is crazy.

If Schiano actually witnessed Sandusky in the shower with a boy, he had 4 places he could go with the information.

One was to his boss (Sandusky), and he would already know it.

Two, was Paterno, and Sandusky had been with Paterno for 100 years, and was his buddy.

Three, was to go to the police. McQueary said he went to the police, and they said he didn't. They would have probably covered for Paterno and Penn State. I feel sure they kept other campus crime quiet for the university.

Four, was to tell another coach on the staff, which he did, according to testimony that has been disputed. Remember, this was Schiano's first coaching job, and he was 24 when he started at PSU, and 29 when he left. We don't know for sure when and if he saw Sandusky .

What's embarrassing is Currie trying to turn to a sub .500 coach to turn this program around.

What's more embarrassing is Currie actually thinking Schiano is a good fit here after all the backlash on Jones about his attitude.

The most embarrassing thing though is someone getting on VN and barking orders to other posters and being so full of themselves that they actually think those posters will listen.

Wtf? There are state representatives speaking out against this, FFS. I even saw a tweet earlier that hinted OSU might even be pressured into action in the wake of all this (he was already on-staff up there before many of those details came out). This isn't some jilted reaction over not getting chocolate pie for dessert, this is heavy s**t. Many of us simply don't want someone who allegedly saw a child being raped and failed to disclose that information with the proper authorities anywhere near the position of head football coach. Even if it isn't true, that is not something you even want in the possible realm of being the image of the university.

Moral high horse? Gtfo with that.
