I sold the tickets. I took them to the post office and mailed them certified. But they never left the post office. All the tracking says is the time I dropped them off on Monday. I told the guy at the counter that UT tickets were in the envelope. I have talked to 5 different post masters and they have all told me the tickets never left the office I dropped them off at because they track them at every point. I am just curious of who ended up with my tickets.

Did you report them stolen to UT? They can invalidate the bar codes on the stolen tickets and issue you new print-at-home or will-call tickets.

I got on UTtix.com and it said you could transfer the tickets online, but I was not the orginal purchaser so I couldnt do it. So I just refunded the guy who I sold them to, and took the hit.

GAVol, if you are anywhere close to seats 9&10 please glance down there and see if anyone is sitting there. At least I would have peace of mind if they were empty.

Gotcha. The original purchaser can report them stolen and invalidate the barcode if the wish, just need to call the ticket office.

Someone really wanted UT tickets to perform a Federal Offense and prison time. You'd think we were undefeated for that kind of crap shoot.

If someone is sitting there walk up and take a picture. E-mail it to the op, maybe he can take it to the post office and identify the thief. If the people sitting there know they have stolen tickets maybe they will get up and leave or maybe just poop their pants.
