Not digging Hazelwoods attitude at all. He seems like one of those "I didn't come here to play school" types. Those can turn into cancers quickly. I'd pass. We need team first guys. Not divas.

If he can run, catch balls, move the chains and score then I'll take him.

Pruitt and staff can work out anything else.

VFL...GBO!!!

We need 5-6 big, nasty "cats" who can block for 4 seconds to allow the bone thrower to locate the "dog".
Cats cover up their "movements" to hide them. Now, if our big cats learn to do this,, well take every advantage to cover your crap!

People are making way too much out of one quote. How do we know he wasn't repeating what our Coach's told him?? And that quote is 100% accurate. One quote isn't going to make him a locker room cancer, plus if he backs it up nobody in the locker room is gonna care anyway.
You really believe a coach would say this about one of his players to a kid that you know would "pass it on"? As to a cancer-- the statement by a coach would be a pretty big cancer causing agent. I for one would not smile or react well if a coach of mine said that. (even if it were true).

I don't get that vibe at all. He can speak the language, but seemed like a nice young man to me. Maybe I need to go watch it again.
What language?? You mean the English language? No, he butchers the English Language as do many of the kids of the last 40-50 years. I don't mean using the grammar improperly, just cannot talk with any sign of education.. BUT he will be able to catch a football and some way or another have passing grades to get into the school of his choice.

the problem is the use of hte word "dog".

no one is (or should) confuse JJ for Jerry Rice. but JJ is certainly a "dog"...lol.

JH is a fantastic receiver, and he would come in and challenge for playing time right away.

anyway, it doesn't really matter. he isn't coming here. he's almost certainly giong to OU.

Who cares. Somebody needs to light a fire under these players. They should get tired of losing. That's why we get punked by Florida every damn year.
Who cares? I would say every receiver on the team including the one thats go hard every play.. Callaway has time and again made miraculous catches and JJ lays LBs out on the field so I would start with they probably care. Sure some of the team has quit but I damn sure wouldnt start with them 2

This is one of many things I love about our basketball team. Every one of those kids sound ready to step on a podium and address 1000’s. They all sound intelligent and at ease giving interviews.

I speak a little jive. Let me attempt a translation:

'"dogs" are extremely, talented receivers.

Pacman Jones was always yabbering about wanting to face a "dog" in practice.

Maybe, but as sissified as football is becoming maybe in the future the D will have to count 5 Mississippi's before rushing! In that new era, counting fast will be more valuable than running fast!
