I'm a Vol fan and will always be. It doesn't hurt me like it once did but it still hurts to watch us get embarrassed. Getting whipped by Bama or FL is the worst ones too. I don't know if I can stomach it this Sat. Guess I will wait and see how I feel at kick off.

I usually have my doubts but for some reason right before kickoff I have 100% confidence we'll win

Well I'm unfortunately not. I'm seventeen and am reffing a huge soccer tournament in our area all day and I asked beforehand not to schedule games in this time, but he basically said I had too if I wanted to keep doing them consistently. It really stinks.

I won't be watching the game but not because I'm afraid that we'll get thumped. I'll be sipping microbrews at a beer festival in North Carolina. Do I get a pass for that?

Anybody that can watch but doesn't isn't a fan. Period. At the very least, Tivo it and fast forward to the defense.

I'll always watch the game.

Do you turn it off early if we are getting our asses handed to us? I have done that only to slip and see if things are getting better. I remember turning it off one time against ND only to miss the biggest comeback TN had in decades! That sucked. I never completely gave up on a game after that.

Of course I'll be watching. It may not be the best experience of my life, but I will see the game from kickoff to the final whistle.

TIVO will be on no matter what. It's football and you never know. It was on last week too.

We're going to husband's niece's wedding. We'll watch it when we get home. I'm saying I won't even listen on the radio (wedding starts at 4pm) but I know I won't be able to stand it. Then as soon as the ceremony is over we'll listen in the car on the way to the reception I suppose.

To be completely honest, I'm worried the game will put me in a bad mood, and I am really happy for this couple. I want to be happy at their wedding. Decisions, decisions.

Yep, my mood gets horrible and I have actually felt sick to my stomach before. 97 FL game, 9 to 6 AL game and the whipping at the hands of Nebraska at Peyton's last game all made me sick to my stomach. It not hurting as bad these days may be the worst part too. We once were so good it killed me and now I really don't expect much from them against anyone!

Last week I only saw the first half because I had to go to my daughter's B-day dinner. This week, I'll miss the last half because of my grand daughter's baptism. Maybe next week..........but wait, thats' Ohio!
