I am looking to watch the opening UT game and wondered if anyone knows about a viewing place for UT-WKU Game. I could even split it with a few guys to buy the game if a bar down in Frederick or Middletown would get it.

i've heard that some states like ohio and michigan would be picking up the SEC Network. that's what Bob and Mike Hamilton were talking about last night on Vol Calls

the problem is I am not going to drive an hour or more down to CCSP to go watch the game, why I was asking if any Volunteers were getting the game in Frederick or Middletown area...or near

Still not a lot closer than Crystal City but when I lived up there they had the games at Port Side Tavern in Baltimore. Still a 45 minute drive for you though so probably not what you're looking for.

Blackfinn downtown on Farragut Square is supposed to be the UT bar for the Alumni Association this year. I don't know if they'll be open in time for Labor Day weekend, though.

I had no idea Frederick was that far away. Apologies for the poor advice.

I just looked back and my CCSP recommendation was to the guy asking about DC. Regardless, good luck finding a spot.

2009 NCAA Division I-A NCAA Football Scores and Schedules for Week 1 - ESPN

According to ESPN, It will be on GAMEPLAN. Which is only $24 for the day. So you will be able to watch all of the college games for the day. Can't beat that deal. I do it every year. I live in Baltimore just over the Howard County line headed to BWI. We are having a big party (Pre-Labor Day) on the 5th so I am going to buy it and DVR it so I can watch on Sunday morning. However. If you want to get a Tennessee football group together we can get together and watch the rest of the games this year. I have a home theater in my basement with a nice motorized 110" screen. I would be happy to host some of the games. Last year I was going to Dave and Busters at Arundel Mills. They play Tennesse on their screens usually.

Nice first post, man. That's a bit far for me, but good looking out.
