I searched for a thread about this and couldn't find one...

so, did anyone meet the players at the airport tonight? or maybe back on campus? I heard they landed around 9 est. Looking for some comments or maybe even a video.

Just hoping it was a positive turnout because these guys DESERVE it... True Volunteers through and through. Go Vols

i went to show the vols support, i had a great time! got a bunch of pictures and autographs.also got to see an old school mate, quinn cannington. i wish them all well in the future. i also seen bVd "big vol daddy" there as well, he was a nice guy!

Cool pics man. I'm in nashville and I swear I was very close to driving to Knox just to welcome the guys home. Glad you and others were able to. Man it still hurts today! I know they needed it, if I hurt this bad, I'd hate to feel like they do.

Great pics, I appreciated seeing them, and I wish I could have been there as well. Thanks for showing up to the airport to show support for our Vols, I am sure it meant alot to them.

Great pics. Everyone post all you have. I can't get enough of it. Here's a video made at the airport upon their arrival.
The players said they were impacted by the turnout.

"I'm gonna go home not thinking about the way we lost, but how much the fans appreciate us," said senior guard Bobby Maze.

Sophomore Scotty Hopson agreed.

"It gives me a warm feeling in my heart to know they're still behind us and still love us," Hopson said. "We love them, too."

Vol fans turn out in droves to welcome hoops team home
